Apollo Bay (2 Days)
Your first stop of the trip upon leaving Melbourne should be Apollo Bay. Spend a relaxing day there enjoying activities such as swimming at the beautiful crescent shaped wide sandy beach or any of the other available watersports such as Sea Kayaking with local seals, Deep Sea Fishing, Surfing or riding horses along the beach. The amazing views can be experienced from the grounds of the Historic Cape Otway Light Station or at panoramic lookouts such as Mariners Lookout or Cape Patton or from the air with a charter flights to view the Twelve Apostles.

More natural wonders can be experienced by exploring the Otways for amazing rainforest scenery and the impressive Triplet falls or by walking along the breathtaking Otway Fly tree top walk.
The day could otherwise easily be spent amongst the varied galleries, gift shops and tea houses or perhaps at the Saturday market on the foreshore which features local crafts and produce. For dinner, if you don't want to eat out at one of the many restaurants and cafes why not buy some beautiful freshest fish from the Fisherman's Co-operative at the pier entrance.
These are some of the great destinations to see and things to do while exploring Apollo Bay. Be sure to add them to your list of places to visit.
