Upon reaching Bairnsdale visitors can experience Aboriginal culture by going to see the amazing rock formations of the Den of the Nargun at the Mitchell River National park, travelling the Bataluk Cultural Trail or visiting the Krowathunkaloong Keeping Place for artefacts and history of the local Koorie people, the Gunai and the Kurnai.
