Coal and related products are the NSW's biggest export. Industries. Steel and shipbuilding are diminished in importance and while agriculture remains important its income is diminishing. Information technology and financial services mostly in Sydney, are important, so many companies having their Australian headquarters in the Sydney CBD. The Australian headquarters of many information technology firms can be found in the Macquarie Park area.
