Stawell (1 Day)
Which brings us to Stawell, Home of Australia's largest operating Gold Mine and the "Stawell Gift Hall of Fame" Museum dedicated to the famous 120metre footrace. Golf devotees can play on the local fairways of the Stawell Golf Club while aboriginal rock art and awe inspiring natural rock formations can be seen at Bunjil's Shelter at the nearby Black Range.

From Stawell the towns of Dunolly (with its Goldfields historical and Arts Museum and its Collectible shops) and Halls Gap (the gateway to the Grampians National park, excellent inland fishing and the Brambuk National Park & Cultural Centre) are just a short distance away.
These are some of the great destinations to see while exploring Stawell Victoria. Be sure to add them to your list of places to visit.
